Why do "some" men feel the need to put other women down to pay you a compliment?

Do they not realise it's not a competition?

I'm tired of hearing about the other crazy/demanding women on here

I'm not sure. I do think that people have a negative experience and that can colour their views of people of the opposite sex and then maybe they are so genuinely amazed that you're not going to start boiling their favourite bunny that they think you're wonderful.

Or...

It's just a line repeated ad infinitum.

Designed to make you think you're special and they recognise that uniqueness and value you and want you because you're you, not because you're just another quim when they've worked their way through most of the eligible women on here.

I think we've all gone through the "I'm not like other girls" phase. People pick up on that stuff.

I have no need to put other women down to assert my individuality.
