get a lot of messages from guys with no pics who say i cannot put pics on because of my job.

now it got me thinking i know i am blonde and don't think often but what jobs are these then because the last time i checked swinging was not illegal

Oh, and teachers would definitely have problems if outed. Swinging might not be illegal, but anything remotely smelling of sex combined with children is mega bad news.

Actually in their defence....not everyone has the luxury of being able to plaster their face all over a swingers site, many people have livelyhoods that would be severely affected by being exposed as a swinger.

If you yourself are lucky enough not to be in that position then hey....that's fantastic, but not everyone is.

The ones which have a contract clause saying you can't do anything which reflects badly on the company/employer (worded in a vast variety of ways).

I still don't fully agree this means you cannot have any photos on the site (privately) but I can understand why people may not always have the faith to do so.

i was not implying that everyone who puts that was lying i just wanted to know what kind of jobs people had that

swinging is not illegal

choosing to have sex with multiple people is not illegal it might not be everyones cup of tea but being sacked for doing what you want in your private life is your choice in a free world

HCP's are usually covered by a professional body that has in it the code of conduct that said professional could be removed from the register if they do anything to sully the profession. This usually means a conviction of some sort, or doing something like publishing pictures of themselves in their uniform in a compromising position.

We both have public jobs. S works for the NHS and H is in the police force. Could be damaging if it was to go public.

Nothing to do with legality..its about privacy and everyones right to it..some people dont care..they want the whole and their dogs to know they are swingers...some people do.

Other peoples tolerances play a part too...to some people not into the swinging lifestyle swingers are just dirty disease ridden perverts who should be avoided at all costs and not given a job that involves them coming in contact with 'normal' people in case they corrupt them...

Of course thats not true..but someone people prefer some degree of anonymity and not to be wrongly judged or tarnished.

A lot of security vetting relates to how likely you could be blackmailed and if you have any history that could lead to been blackmailed....

Some people, could in the right circumstances and knowledge of your position within a company use your membership here to blackmail you.

Same reasons as years ago, coppers were not allowed certain debts or finance... They didn't want them exposed to blackmail.

At the end of the day though... What is different between a guy sleeping with another mans wife in an affair (with no chance of been sacked), a woman having one night stands at the end of a night out on the tow, or a guy sleeping with her as part of swinging.... The difference been the narrow minded ness of those not in the scene.... Will that ever change?

Not for a while but maybe it will... The same way as been gay has become more in the open and accepted by more walks of life.

OK... some teenager is scouting for something to wank over online, finds a photo and thinks "Hold on just one minute... that's the couple who live down the road"

The photo gets sent to all of his mates for them to laugh at and a few of them pass it on to some younger kids saying "look at your mates mum and dad"....

In the end it has been passed around so much no one remembers where it came from, but two of the other parents have got hold of it from their kids phones.

So now most of this kid's mates have seen it, all the bigger kids have seen it, some of the parents have seen it....... think of that poor fucker going back to school.

I remember reading on here not so very long ago that someone's neighbour had printed out their photos and a link to their profile and subsequently posted copies through the letterboxes of all their other neighbours in an attempt to cause them embarrassment and pain. I think (hope) that it didn't work because the other neighbours didn't seem to care but you can see how it could have easily turned nasty.

Personally I would not judge anyone negatively for wishing to do the same, nor those who wish to show whatever they wish on their public photos. I do send face pics, put do so privately.

I realise this may put me at a disadvantage, and that some may feel that I have something to hide. Quite honestly, I couldn't give a twirly fuck - they are my rules and that's how I roll.

It's OK if you didn't get a chance to download someone's photos before they delete or hide them....... just use the Internet Archive to find previous snap shots.

Nothing is ever really deleted from the internet.

I think protecting the feelings of the people that matter to you is more important than protecting your own

OK... some teenager is scouting for something to wank over online, finds a photo and thinks "Hold on just one minute... that's the couple who live down the road"

The photo gets sent to all of his mates for them to laugh at and a few of them pass it on to some younger kids saying "look at your mates mum and dad"....

In the end it has been passed around so much no one remembers where it came from, but two of the other parents have got hold of it from their kids phones.

So now most of this kid's mates have seen it, all the bigger kids have seen it, some of the parents have seen it....... think of that poor fucker going back to school."

Yep..or not neccessarily a kid..an adult, local to you may join, could even be a couple, looking for some action..but they have a grudge aginst you or your partner..

All they have to say to people is "Hey...'someone' told us they are swingers..'they' even showed us pictures of her performing with loads of blokes..disgusting isnt it"...

Now if someone said that to me or the majority of people on here we would say 'so what..good luck to them'

But the majority of people outside of this wont..through their own blinkered misconceptions they will judge you...

You seem to have a very sweet trusting nature..and theres nothing wrong with that...but it appears to border on naivety and misguidedness, dont trust people not to stab you in the back or dish the dirt about you..

You might not care..but think of the people close to you.

One of our friends works at a hospital and had to remover any pics from her fb account a couple of years ago and so did many others, due to pics being uploaded by other staff working there who had broken regulations by posting them.

Face pics on a swingers site for all to see could end up in the wrong hands and cause all kinds of chaos if used maliciously.

It does happen, don't ever think it wont.

Another reason people don't send face pics in emails etc is the fact that it could be anyone pretending to be a couple just to gather other people photos to post on other sites and make money from them.

Don't think it wont/can't happen.

We are speaking from experience.

I have a lovely 'disrepute clause' at work. And someone's threatened to email a pic of me to head office before after I stupidly let on who I work for!

Caused me to leave the site for a while, have a break and come back with a shiny new profile. Some people have no common sense, tact or sense of discretion!

Most do - but when the risk is unemployment - if rather play safe and stick to posting non face pics and doing face to face socials. (always checking of course for a bloke in a van with a zoom lens! Kidding!)

this is what happend to the kinky cottage in halifax nosey neighbour thought they would cause probs for the owners when that failed the rat went to the local paper . this brought the police and social services into play

Fully agree with that. I was going to join the naturist club that meets at my local sports centre which is attatched to the school where I work. It only needed some savvy student to start a rumour about "that pervy groundsman" who goes to the naturist sessions. Having said that, I`ve always had face pics either on here or other swingers forums I`ve been on! Got some porn pics with my face in too about the `net!

I put added a face pic on for the first time a couple of days ago. My only worry is work colleagues seeing it. I doubt my family and friends would be on this site and I don't have children. Some of the posts here are making me a bit jittery about it though! I think I will see how it goes.

To be fair though, to my knowledge not many people have been sacked under the disrepute clause......... they generally are encouraged to leave and take the option so the reason for dismissal doesn't appear on thier reference.

In 2 minds on this one.

Firstly in certain sectors it would be really bad if you were spotted nude etc. For example teaching or working with vulnerable people.

However, for you to be seen the person who recognises you must also lead a similar lifestyle so who are they to judge?

Tricky! If you are interested in someone who says they will send a face pic on request and they do it then what is the problem?

We've yet to defend someone dismissed for being a swinger...but you'd be surprised what employers can get rid of you for. Especially if you work for DWP or HMRC!
