Carrying on from the self awareness threads, what is your worse toxic trait. Mine is whenever anyone mentions fish I have to shoe horn fish related puns into the conversation just for the halibut ?!

I have many toxic traits or defects of character......if I was to put on at the top. It would be arrogance thinking im better than then displaying thst in words and actions...

All though I've done the work on myself that I'm highly aware of myself and recognise when I'm in this, and what's going on fir me to resort to this trait...

Generally being because I feel inferior, insecure or that you remind me of somebody, so I feel I can't trust hence fir it to be used as a defence mechanism to keep ppl away

When I go on holiday with a lady the first thing I do is pull the bed away from the wall and tuck the bedsheets in so they are not touching the floor... It's in case insects or cockroaches crawl up in the night. When the ladies work it out I just say they are being ridiculous..

I am just blunt at times in conversations but In a level calculated logical driven way. I don’t see it toxic as such but it can make people feel I am harsh at times with how I speak , emotionally driven people struggle with me at first until they grasp it’s just how my thought process works and I am not being rude per se .

My brain works so fast and mathematically with every aspect of life it can really put some people off guard , equally I find it odd when people are emotionally driven rather than by pure logical process.

Looking away while talking sometimes annoys people when I do that this

I absolutely 100% agree with what the attachment quiz summarised about me. Its actually a bit painfully accurate to be honest eeek

I got fearful avoident. All my toxic traits come within that really. I used to think I was a nice person before doing that quiz

In the past, I have been reluctant to confront people who simply wanted to exploit me; I now find that I have to potray a veneer of 'toxicity' in order to protect myself.

This runs counter to my generous, pro-social inner core, that I now have to suppress within this ruthless, nasty, acquisitive, and self-interested society that misinterprets decency and kindness as a weakness.

I am easily bored

I have a short fuse when I see gaslighting or manipulation, I spot the signs and it winds me up alot

I need allllll the attention

otherwise I will die.

Maybe over confident too for some people. They say confidence is attractive but I have found some men can get intimidated by this

I doubt myself and care way too much about what people think. I know that if I just went for it and not worrying of people's opinions I would be a lot more courageous and potentially more 'successful'

I know the solution for this is 'just don't worry about other people' but I feel it's easier said than done sometimes
