The "I'm Sick of the Olympics" Thread

Are you sick and tired of the Olympics ? I am for sure, every morning noon and night, all we hear is Olympics, Olympics, Olympics. I'll be glad when it's all over, then we'll have to endure the bloody football

So if you're sick of the Olympics, this is your thread to vent your anger.

Please no Olympic supporters on here - this is just for miserable old bastards like me.

Thank you

Am not a sporty type in general, but I think there's been far too much of it over the summer. Bad enough that the last three months have been a washout without having another sporting competition on the TV all the time.

Nobody - I hate football, in fact I hate any sport. (I'm doing the North Run, but that's not really sport is it )

What gets on my nerves is that 15 minutes of the news is dedicated to the Olympics every day despite there also being daily catch-up programmes after the news and non-stop coverage during the day.

It's not like there's not newsworthy things happening around the world right now.

Even the broadsheet papers are guilty of dedicating the front pages to Olympic stories day after day.

Bah humbug.

If I see him mentioning his 'back door' one more time I'll dig out my strap on and make his eyes bulge...

I planned my escape from the south years ago, and decided to visit Scotland during the games.

My apathy on the subject of the Olympics is boundless, I really couldn't care any less.

I'm not a fan of watching most sports, I prefer something with a storyline lol, plus I have this problem with guys getting paid more in a week then soldiers, doctors and alike get paid in a year. 31 and happy to be grumpy hehe
