"and yes bofore someone says anything to myself or ivy as to how can these traits be of both autism and adhd well basically this is why they call it the spectrum because many have similar traits, it depends on how they are displayed and when and frequency as to which, you can be co morbid meaning you have more than one mental health disorder. i.e just cos you forget your keys once in a blue moon does not make you adhd who losses their keys daily, even when they are right where you put them....my son found keys he lost in a boot years later. its multiple times a day." There's a high degree of comorbidity between ADHD and the Autism Spectrum Disorder. For people on the spectrum, they will have their own unique expression of traits, so 1 person will seem very different from the next. The forum has a fair few wonderful people with these conditions. Many adults are unaware that they may be affected and many adults are not diagnosed, partly as appropriate services didn't exist when they were younger. I am somewhat intolerant of others' behaviour but a little understanding of issues can increase our sensitivity and empathy.

When I had a hedge I had a guy who had the local Post Office tell me it needed cutting, so the day after I took a pair of shears in and left them on the counter and I left the hedge another two weeks before I cut it, then went in and told him it was cut and to quit interfering again. He never mentioned it again.

"I’ve just had a guy come and explain the best way to cut my bush, whilst I was cutting it. Then stood there for a few minutes like he was supervising.. at this point I was basically finished and the bush was looking very tidy if I do say so myself. So annoying This was a bush in the front garden.. otherwise that would have been weird and more annoying He was lucky it wasn’t me he was doing that to. I don’t tolerate busy bodies like him! When I had a hedge I had a guy who had the local Post Office tell me it needed cutting, so the day after I took a pair of shears in and left them on the counter and I left the hedge another two weeks before I cut it, then went in and told him it was cut and to quit interfering again. He never mentioned it again. " This sounds like a monologue from Are You Being Served.

I thought I dealt with him well...!

"Interviewees (on radio & TV) who ‘errmm’ and ‘aaah’ when asked to express their expertise on a particular issue. Some are absolutely dreadful." This. Also, the Americanisms that are penetrating our language, such as mom

"Currently; the wild campers who think it’s fine to visit my beautiful part of the world, have a party, then just leave all their detritus behind If I find who these people are, I will be gathering a group of friends together, and we will be going around to empty our bins in these people’s gardens " I think this is a growing problem in parks, beaches and open countryside in general

Found an envelope with an address in the village. Took the bin bag round to the address and managed to get all the contents through their letter box. Maybe a bit puerile but very satisfying.
