so after yesterday and the nation waking up with one giant hangover... I am going to be gutted now when the olympics ends next sunday...

london has done such a great job with it so far..... and it hasn't been overshadowed by any of the negatives that we has coming into the games...

I suppose this have also made me more interested in the paralympics which will be coming up a few weeks after.....

a few things now.... I know that some of the stadiums are temporary.. but I hope they change their minds.... you could almost have it as a national sporting centre.. and means we can keep getting major sporting events in....

why not for example make london a bid centre for a commonwealth games....

and whoever gets the keeps to the olympic stadium, keep the running trace!!! the atmosphere last night was brilliant.....

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

One of the athletes described the feeling in the stadium of being in a 'home' crowd. She is not Team GB. That is the beauty of the London Games, isn't it? Every nation is already here. A visiting team would be made to feel welcome and still be supportive of Team GB.

Fabio, there will be but an intermission between the Olympics and Paralympics. Although I understand that there is something called football starting up to fill the gap.
