Eye surgery (not for correction!)

A world all of his own

Ok, last year during an eye test, the optician found that I had narrow drain angles (google it, it's not gory but too long to explain) and after two sets of identical tests it's been confirmed.

After the first set of tests the specialist said that I'd have to have a laser shone down the angle to enlarge it, but after the second set of tests the (different) specialist said I'd have new drain angles created in the back of my eyes

Just wondering if anyone else has had it done, what it was like, recovery time etc.

Not nervous yet as it'll be within the next 2 months but just curious to know in advance.

Thanks

"Sorry OP, it's not something I've come across."

Ah no worries just thought with the amount of foot traffic through here that someone else might have had it.

Speak to your doctor and they might be able to put you in contact with previous patients

I was going to wheel out my joke about going to the opticians and being in the fish and chip shop instead, but my hearts not in it at the moment.

Thanks for the suggestion but the issue there is actually getting to speak to anyone at the moment.
