I am shocked to hear about the messages from men on this site with aggressive language towards women.

It seems that if men don't get what they want from a female (response to a message or sexual contact) they send lots of abuse.

Has anyone had first hand experience of this?

What did the admin do about this?

In my experience things are dealt with pretty swiftly.

There's a good reporting system for people and the 'men' can be blocked immediately by the 'women' .....

What do they do? Quite simply not enough! However to be fair what can they do? There are some truly horrible people completely lacking with respect. I’m afraid it’s a problem with society which is demonstrated in a group such as this, it really is quite frightening to hear some of the stories that are being revealed over the last few days

Most days I receive some abuse.

I've had some disgusting messages over the years.

Not much fab can do...ban someone, they return with a new profile. Unfortunately people can say what they like online.

How incredibly shielded from reality you are.

It's not the site's fault.

Sadly it is just a reflection of the society we live in. The majority of men, whether they can admit to this or not, have a sense of superiority and entitlement over women to varying degrees. It’s so deeply ingrained from a very young age that it takes a truly evolved man to break free from these societal stereotypes. I live in Pembrokeshire and I’ve been called a ‘fat cunt’ 5 times over the last 2 years (I’m a size 12 and 5’7ins) each time I’ve been called this it’s because I’ve said something to a man about what they were doing - for example: walking out in front of my car or blocking the road with a vehicle etc. The response is always immediately angry and insulting. It really is quite a problem and I don’t see it changing anytime soon, sadly.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
