A vibrator?....I saw a model of one of the Victorian ones in the sex museum in Amsterdam...what a contraption it was, haha....Am I right??

I think batteries were the first Gadget, followed by relay switches for the early telegraph systems.... but with regard to your list.... My initial thought is toaster, because it seems a logical follow on from the Lightbulb, but I'm going to say Vibrator because I really want it to be true

yeah you lot are good (well most)

the plug in vibrator came first! a whole 13 years before the electric toaster!

It was created as a medical device in the 1800's to treat to treat the wrap around diagnosis of hysteria, it was no cure so treatments were regular (yeah right, women just knew better & was the only way you were allowed back then too)

which is actually just a horny woman in need of relief....just where were all those husbands exactly? failing in their marital duties far as I can see

impotence is actually still grounds for divorce in some places

wooden dildo's have been found from like 5000yrs ago...so yeah sexual beings we certainly are
