"Ordering a new car "

I think car dealers have probably made more money with everyone buying cars in lockdown than they do when they are open

I bought a 2 week all inclusive 5* holiday to Egypt.

Cost an absolute fortune (family of 6)

Like I actually booked this in a pandemic, and I was sober

Husbands taken my card away just to be on the safe side

The most expensive was a watch, the most pointless was yet another pair of boots. Ebooks and ebooks with some more ebooks.

I was given a Kindle last Christmas, and whilst I like an actual book, I have embraced it and always have one on the go..There are loads of good free books, and some shockers..

I saw a car I really liked, considered selling both of mine to buy it.

So close to pulling the trigger but didn't.

Most expensive thing I did actually buy was a new deadlift bar.

I am on computers all day that I rather stick to books, easier to cuddle in bed with a book and when you fall asleep with a book it just falls to the floor with no damage lol..

Not impulse but needed new dishwasher, tumble dryer and 2nd hand car. Had to spend on boiler repair too.

Impulse buys are "yarns". I do knit for charity, so an opertunity to knit with fun colours and textures I'd not use for myself. Impulse yarns that have not gone well are donated to my freind who makes twiddle muffs for dementure care homes.

Kind of an impulse purchase - my flat.

My LTR ended last year, we were renting together and so I had to decide to either continue renting or bite the bullet and get on the ladder. First one I viewed I was just like "that'll do" and put an offer in on the spot.

However I guess some cars that might have been bought will be more expensive!

Not really sure if this counts as impulse buying but we wanted to do a bit of decorating in our hallway so we stripped the wallpaper off...only then we've realised the wall will need new plaster so as we had to call professionals anyway they have plastered and painted out foyer, hallway and living room and changed carpeting to laminate flooring in all these areas as well.

Then we decided it calls for new decorations so we bought new curtain poles, curtains, rug for living room, runner for hallway, doormat....well we are still not done and it cost us bloody fortune

I can't even blame it on boredom as both of us still work fulltime.

A large wheelchair adapted vehicle, as you pick them up relatively cheap for what they are, to adapt into a motor home for road trips during any transition period between staycations and safe foreign travel. It's also come to my attention through reading various articles, what a beautiful country this is, with so many undiscovered back water's.
