I’m fighting a losing battle at the minute .

I don’t see a future like this and it’s bloody terrifying

Not looking for sympathy I just needed to vent and get this shit out

The right place

I hope venting helps.

Just remember ’this too shall pass’. After every storm the sun does come out again. Hang in there.

Always good to talk to someone, even strangers. My inbox is open if you need to chat more.

Don't forget services such as the samaritans as well are there to help and please speak to your gp.

Does your employer offer some sort of employee assist service? They are often great at offering bridging services until you can get help through your Dr.

Out n About

Sometimes even just getting it off your chest helps.

I've been struggling a bit myself on and off over the past few years. I've tried to look at and enjoy the little positives in life.

You've got it fella, go n kick some ass

I've seen you post like this before in the morning

What is it about mornings that find you in this mental state?

Whatever you need op to get through should be used but personally I think you need maybe to reach out closer to home.

Best of luck.

OP hold tight! When we are in the thick of the storm we can’t see any way out. But always know that it will calm, it will pass, and everything looks better when the clouds part. You’ve got this.

We’re all on a rollercoaster ride at the moment. I find it scary when we’re hurtling down and always scream at the top of my voice. Remember though that the ride isn’t always about the downs, enjoy the ups and focus on those. Keep safe op and feel free to message if you want to talk.

Sorry to read you're struggling OP.

Remember an arrow needs to be pulled backwards before going forwards. Life can drag you backwards at first before launching you forwards into something much better.

Try a chat with your doctor and confide in friends if you can.

Morning Sir. I really feel for you. I really do. Nobody walks your path other than you but as many have pointed out there are numerous avenues of help to carry you through this until you find your feet again. Please speak to your Doctor. Top fella for speaking out

Admitting you're struggling is a huge first step so well done you.

There is light at the end of the tunnel so can you find friends and family to walk with you through the darkness to get their ?

Every step forward is progress towards the light no matter how small that step is.

And it's ok not to progress some days.

It can be hard swimming in a sea of crap. Asking for help is the first massive step forward. A first step leads to a journey, keep taking small steps and your get there. Just remember keep reaching out, for that lifeline. Sunny days are on the way again.

Stay positive where you can OP, and communicate how you feel and think to others, hopefully those around you / close to you. They can help you see the light amongst the darkness.

Plenty of online support available too if you feel that may help, I don’t know where you are based but Samaritans, Qwell, and your GP can help as starter points I’m sure. I’ve known people to get out of rock bottom and are now thriving, and they definitely had feelings of real lows and lacking any self love or care.

Stay strong, stay connected to others, exercise and fresh air, and try doing something new to distract your mind and keep it fun if possible. Be kind to others and stay in the present, try to shift away from negative past moments or ‘future worries’.

I think we've all felt like this at some point, so you are certainly not alone

When i feel this happening i try and get outdoors and focus on my core, breathing in the air, clearing my thoughts and focussing on what is around me... Listening to the birds, feeling the breeze , looking at the clouds, touching the trees

I always remind myself that no matter how bad the day, it only lasts 24 hours... the sun rises every day and resets the clock .. And every new day brings hope + joy if you are able to seek it out

Just take each day as it comes OP. One step in front of the other, look forward and not backwards. That’s all you can do.

Holding on to your shit isn't helping you. I'm so used to putting on a brave face that I found I was unable to tell my GP the full extent of how bad things had been. Once I realised what I was doing I went back to her and dropped my defences. I got the help I needed and am doing better now. Have you spoken to your GP?

I've been on the floor mentally and, literally, physically.

Don't be afraid to seek help, or take medication if offered.
