make sure you know the needs of the plant before buying as something as simple as the wrong spot will kill it

Exactly, they need the right amount of sunlight, mine are on top of ma speakers throughout the Winter months, but get moved to the windowsill in Summer for at least a couple of hours per day, plus they get fed by standing them in plant food overnight

I'd love to have plants, but my cat immediately eats them, and I know some can be toxic to them.

"I'd love to have plants, but my cat immediately eats them, and I know some can be toxic to them. "

They eat plants for digestion. Plant cat grass , it grows in a few days from seed and they will stay off the other plants then

Aloe Vera

Peace Lily

Snake Plant.

They all purify the air and some chuck out oxygen at night while you're sleeping.

Hey we are not all only interested in great sex... plants and gardening, nature and wildlife (I volunteer), I run a film group, cycle and play squash, read books... sex is my favourite though!

Grow some 6 hills giant cat mint (catnip) your cat will love you for it and is pretty too when it flowers and keeps bitey mozzys away

The only plant that survived when I moved last year was my big peace lilly that I've had for years.

Plants don't like my new flat

My yukka looks sad and only has 3 leaves left on it

Orchids. Perfect plant. Put in a sunny spot and water irregularly/neglect/forget and you’ll get lovely flowers from it been doing this for years and it seems to be working lol. Freya

My partner keeps buying plants and killing them . I keep trying ro talk him out of buying more as I don't want a house full of dead plants but he always insists he'll look after this one. At least the cat harrasses you to be fed!

Can't understand the attraction of artificial plants. Invest in a bit of decent art or something instead... hey but whatever it's a free and rich world, catering for all our tastes!
