I never knew it was called that !

If you want to stop I hope that there is support out there for you and that you manage to manage to get things under control.

I bet it's more common that is made out.

Actually I do my eyebrows....... I just thought that was because I didn't like the texture of some of them but looking at the symptoms it says people who pull certain textures.......

I just do the eyebrows.... when i'm watching telly mainly and I have lost part of them....

I normally do eyebrows I have two now permanent bald patches and scars on eyebrows where I have pulled hair out for so long.

Prior to going bald I used to pull great tufts out when younger and as a kid, I got singled out by teachers for it and put in detention, also my nan used to say I was crazy and had st Vitus dance also coz I wobble my legs.

Now I tend to stick to facial hair various bald patches on beard.

I used to do my eyelashes when stressed a long time ago, I had to unlearn the behaviour which took a long time

I pulled my eyelashes and eyebrows out as a child. I think I finally stopped when I was about 19 or so.

It's clearly some obsessive disorder as I get intensely focused on one hair and can feel it boring into my skin and I won't relax until that one hair is gone, trouble is I end up pulling out all the hairs around it at same time.

I have it. It happens when I am stressed or distressed. Only eyebrows and lashes though.
