... are they still alive and kicking, or time has moved on, and we have proper clubs for swingers?

Just wondering, as peeps at work queried if the party I am going to is a car key party

In the older days, like-minded people would meet at a house or whatever, and the couples would put their car keys into a bowl.

One of each couple would then pick out a set of keys and go with the owner to play in his/her car etc...

The more experienced peeps please correct me if I am wrong. Got the idea from the film Ice Storm!

In reality it always seemed to work out OK. I sometimes wondered if the ladies arranged amongst themselves who'd pick which keys.

my feckin push bike and i had to walk home coz some fecker threw in a set of keys and there was no car out side, hmmmm some people eh you can't trust anyone any more

We've been swinging for years and have never seen this happen - at parties we swing with people we fancy (at least to start off with!) not because you drew their keys.

the only bowls we've seen at swinger parties are ones with condoms in (or crisps and nuts!)
