The 2012 London Olympics truely are the girl power olympics

1st games where all 204 countries have entered female atheltes

1st games where women can participate in a number of events including the cycling team pursuit, boxing etc

one female rowing gold medalist hadn't even been in a boat 4 years ago

The bridesmaid of rowing finally got her gold medal in front of an ecstatic home crowd

fantastic games!!!

am looking forward to seeing our 3 girls in team pursuit final later this asfternnon!.

the lovely laura trott has the omnium to compete in as well soon,which should be really good as she gives us all thrill with her riding.

thats the individual sprint and we got very good chances in both guys with jason kenny,and the ladies with queen of the velodrome victoria pendleton.
