Thanking them orally (pun intended) isn't enough, they should thank them with what matters the most: money.

Money don't buy happiness, but when you are struggling to pay the bills, as many underpaid NHS staff, it certainly helps.

Govs should be help accountable for the contradictions of their measures !

Having said that the pandemic was unpredictable and not totally unprecedented as the world has face many pandemic but from different nature, but still in a way it was.

So I understand why govs didn't really made the right decisions. What I don't understand is that one country does that and the other something else... there was no talk between countries, as if each countries have a better way to handle the situation. Having said, your country should certainly understand it's population better than another one, in terms of cultures and habits.... But it wasn't the case with that pandemic. The contradictions of every measures they took were and still are difficult to agree with.

Brighton - even Hove!

"How do you handle something that is unprecedented "
it was unprecedented but plans were in place for a pandemic and were dismantled.

Governments can be held accountable when we vote.

L’boro/Ashby & Cheltenham

We’ve known about pandemics for decades! Every government has teams of scientists and planners in place. It’s just that politicians had to make unpopular decisions...
