Disco Resurrection.....

So it seems that Boney M's top 10 hit "Rasputin" is now viral and the most used video audio on Tik Tok making it a chart hit again 43 years after its original 1978 release....

So, which of your favourite disco classic would you want to see resurrected to the modern digital age??

Oh, disco. Much maligned, and unjustifiably so.

Some fantastic tracks came out of this era!

For me, off the top of my head:

Disco Inferno - The Trammps

Stayin'Alive and Night Fever - The Bee Gees

Dancing Queen - ABBA

(these last three might be considered clichés but that doesn't detract from the fact that they are two classics of disco, and of pop music more generally)

And two of my absolute favourites...

Young Hearts Run Free - Candi Staton

Lost in Music - Sister Sledge

It's about time disco was taken more seriously...

There's plenty of young musical talent. Every generation complains that the up and coming generation have poor taste in music etc.
