OK. I shared my foot tips, now I need advice! I've only just become aware of magnetic eyelash extentions. I'm intrigued. Anyone tried them? Any recommendations? Any to avoid?

Thanks in advance x

I’m not a regular eyelash wearer but I bought lolas lashes to try. They’re fabulous if you just want to wear them every now and again for the evening and super easy to apply

I've got some on my watch list on eBay, I'm thinking of getting them so I'm also interested in people's opinions.

I've been tempted to try these. Do you use magnetic eyeliner then put the lashes on, how well do they work?

There are 2 types.

One style uses magnetic liner the other come in two halves that fit over and under your natural lashes

Are they the double ones that clamp over your own lashes or do they use the eyeliner?

Having watched A LOT of YouTube videos I think the eyeliner one might be better for me. So that's the advice I'd prefer.

Of course there may be folk on here who don't have stubby lashes that might be interested in the others, so share and share alike!

I wear this regularly now since I discovered them and they are amazing. U need to get the eye liner right and once u have mastered that your good to go! I love that I can just remove them in 2 seconds after a night out....(a night out...what's that )

Mine's the eye liner one.

I use my regular eye liner first for a wing and the shape/ thickness etc then pop a line of the magnetic stuff on.

You can't touch up the magnetic liner as it just takes it off.

Can't advise on magnetic eyelashes, but thinking of investing in a crotch magnet.

I have only recently discovered these. And tried 1 pair of lolas lashes ( with the magnetic eyeliner) first after seeing them advertised on my IG feed.

I was impressed at the product, but not by the price, as they are super costly for 1 pair.

I sourced a pack of 10 different styles of lashes on Wish.com for a fraction of the price, and these are absolutely brilliant. Excellent quality and just as good as the premium brands.

Got a few pairs now. They're great and super easy to apply. The magnetic liner can be a bit shiny though and you may need 2 layers but you can always go over it with a matt liner once the lash is in place.

I have Lola's Lashes too, the ones with the eye liner. I'm not a false lash user usually but found these super easy to get the hang of.

Kx

Thanks! It's payday tomorrow so I think I'll splash out on Lolas. I'll investigate cheaper ones once I've got the hang of it. There's more of an incentive to persevere if they cost a bit more

I’ve bought the lolas eyelashes too, and some cheaper ones on Amazon. Actually Lola’s look amazing but kind of too fake. (I’ve bought the diamonds)

I cut off the cheaper ones in half and just put half of 1 at the end to have a longer effect on the last part and they look amazing (I don’t have the guts to cut lola’s)

They blend great with my own and I have to say mine are already nice with mascara but doing that thing at the end make them amazing and quite natural looking

Lola’s packaging is great and feels luxurious but they are definitely a bit over priced x

I did the same thing last week and they arrived! tried it yesterday, looks brilliant and was really easy to put on considering I’m far from glam type girl.

I bought some really cheap ones which arrived yesterday. I'm amazed at how effective they are. I'm hopeless at eyeliner but I made a pretty good to of these first try. I'll practice with one pair a few times and I reckon I'll get it right.

They cost me just over a fiver

I got unbranded ones from Amazon to keep me looking fluttery until I can get extensions again.

Dead easy to use, stay on really well. Need a good quality eye make up remover to take the eyeliner off, though.

I got some cheap Amazon magnetic eyeliner lashes just to try them out. I need to trim the strip as it's too long for me, but they are very fluttery!

Quick update!

Finally tried my Lola's Lashes. I found the eyeliner took an age to dry (30 plus mins!) which is a bit of a ballache, but the lashes went on so easily (I did have to chop them down a little) and they stayed put all night. I'll prob replace them with cheaper ones once they wear out, but I'll keep the beautiful carry case

My Lola's Lashes came with some kind of mineral oil to remove the eyeliner... Not sure normal make up remover will do the trick properly as it's usually not oil based.

Full disclaimer - got a degree in Chemistry so I kinda know my solvents. I will try baby oil next time. I figure that should work and be a cheaper alternative to specialist remover x

The case is super lush and love mine too but are definitely very glam! Don’t use them too often myself and got some cheaper ones on Amazon I chopped in half to just put at the end of my eyelashes to give extra length. And I found this to work great but also look natural

Anyway, which set did U buy from Lola? I got the diamond ones
