You filthy minded folks!

The kitten is in heat and loving everything, I mean *loving* everything!

Is there anything that we can do to stop her from scent marking and dry humping everything and everyone?

Cool, I’m glad that you thought of that. We hadn’t even considered it!

Or we did but the vets won’t do it as it’s nonessential, so we have to wait until they can open properly

How can they say stopping breeding of an already over bred species is non essential? Not saying I don't believe you, just it seems silly of the vet.

Also I didn't think females scent marked? Every day is a school day.

She was but we took away her internet time after she sprayed a pillow

It is silly. We also can’t get her vaccinated so she absolutely can’t go outside.

They scent mark when they’re in heat, it’s to let the boys know where she is and that she’s horny. She’s also making noises like a horny Mogwai

Your vets suck dude. I got my rabbit jabbed. Was going to get her sprayed at the same time until the vet told me how much. that was in lockdown number 1 so maybe its changed but I got her claws cut 3 weeks ago at the vets no problem.

If you have a spray bottle, such as a watering spray bottle. Use cold water and spray her back end when she starts to make the god awful noise. Keep her as cool as you can for her comfert and change her vets, they should be able to spade her within a week of you contacting her.

I would say try to get a different vet as we have 10 and 6 month old kittens and they are both neutered.

Perhaps it’s just where we are then. It’s definitely only emergency stuff at the moment around here. She’s 8 months old now

I know it’s not quite the same but when our dog was in season she humped her teddy. It was bigger than her but she threw that thing around. Felt kinda sorry for it in the end

I would go to a different vets.

Most of ours are doing jabs and neutering. I had one of mine vaccinated during lockdown. That really is essential.

It's really distressing for them being in heat.

Give her to one of fabs many pussy eaters to deal with your issue.
