Is it just me or is this lockdown becoming to much to cope with? I’m really struggling

When I was on furlough it was very hard, getting back to work has made it easier but that was hard at first.

For the last couple of weeks I had the constant headache and I’m really just fed up, I just want to feel normal again and not so anxious

I feel like I’ve totally changed as a person, lack of confidence, lack of motivation and just feel crap all the time

It's hit me hard this time, but then work has been tough as well which hasn't helped.

There hopefully is light at the end of the tunnel. And the summer will be here soon!

Maybe an apt time to repost the wisdom of AA Milne:

"You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."

Hang on in there

I manage a lot of people directly/indirectly, fair to say every person I know/manage has had a dark and tough period through the lockdown process. Different times, different reasons.

Some last year in 2020, easier with the sun shining etc. This year more people that sailed through the last lockdown have struggled. mine was may/June 2020

Personally. - I will never live my life in fear though, never, for anyone.

I was ok for most of 2020 but these last 6 to 8 weeks have proven difficult... and now am starting to get concerned for what the future brings. But i can’t even imagine what anyone in the nhs has been through this last year.

You aren’t alone. Most people I know are really struggling with this. We’ve been living with uncertainty for a year now, no clear idea of when we will come out of this. It is hard, and it’s ok to feel whatever you feel about it.

I know I’m more anxious, low, demotivated and fed up.

It feels like as soon as we start to get back to normal it will hit again and we are locked down again. I can’t cope with it
