Do you ever wonder...

Do you ever wonder what would have happened if you'd stuck to every diet you've ever started? I expect that, despite the fact I'd weigh no more than a dried leaf, much like today I'd still struggle to feel OK in any of my clothes. So technically, maybe being a bit fat isn't actually the issue....

What things do you wonder about?

I often wonder what my life would have been like if i had moved to France to live with my french boyfriend. In those days we had no mobiles or internet and i was not wanting to leave my friends and family so declined to go when he asked. Think my life would have been so much better if i had been braver.

I wonder what my life would be like now if I had stayed in the UK with my then boyfriend 15yrs ago.

I wonder if I would have caved in and had kids with him.

I often wonder why so few people don't seem to experience joy from living their life in the now

If I had never moved up north, what my life would be like.......

Is my relationship making me happy......

Have I ever really loved a man......

Where has my self belief gone.....

Why can’t I stick to something that would potentially make me feel better about myself......

I’m guilty of wondering about the past a lot but always make sure to enjoy the moment. It’s crazy to think some choices in the past may have put you in a totally different place though.

I've started to wonder if there's an alternative meaning to 'heavy cummer'. After a rather intense couple of days with K, where I imagined I'd have burnt off a gazillion calories, the scales told me I'd gained 5lb!

...so I wondered if there was such a thing as light cummers?

I wonder sometimes what my life would have been if I didn't move down here a decade ago and stayed where I was..

I wonder what it'd have been like not to have become disabled 4 years ago and been able to be a "proper" mum

I personally don't think it is the issue. Until I was 18 I was dancing competitively and despite having the appetite of two men, I struggled to even reach 7 stone. Between 21 and 23 though I had a lot of health problems and with that on top of trying to obtain a degree while in and out of hospital, I went up to about 13 stone. I was cripplingly insecure at all those sizes when I was younger. I found body confidence partly through myself and going to clubs has helped me to accept myself. The liberation of being naked in front of others has been great for me. I'm still not totally comfortable in my body and I'm still trying to lose a little more weight but I know that won't bring me instant confidence as it never did in the past. Confidence has to come from loving yourself despite your flaws as you will always find some.
