Well done OP.

Are you enjoying getting back into it and seeing the positive results?

Well I was thinking of doing a 10km.

Did one 4 years ago. With very little training but under a hour was my goal.

Now can run 2 and half miles. Slight stop. And start but getting stronger. And fitter. But just keeping to 1 or 2

Miles training at the minute mainly due to lack of time.

Remember to factor in rest days. As eager as you are to get out running your muscles need to recover and repair too.

Thanks for the advice. Yes did a couple days in a row and the speed wasn’t in the legs at all.

On the days I don’t run. I try and get out for a gentle walk.

Used to run every 2nd day till I got in to my late 50s , now it is every 3rd day as the body just could not take it !!!,

Free and healthy , would love a running buddy ! .

Well done. It does help you mental well being too I find. I slipped a bit last year after losing 4 and a half stone the year before. Trying to get back on it again.
