Self examinations are so important! Happy to tell anyone who doesn't know how to Check! Or ask your doc to check!

I've just had my new appointment through for my check up at the breast clinic. The last was cancelled thanks to covid and I'm over a year overdue.

Very good point about guys. My dad had breast cancer when I was young. I remember him being in the hospital with alm the drains coming out of him.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting to have to worry about it at that age tbh...I'd had a precancerous cyst removed as a teenager tho so wasn't a total shock I guess.

Fingers crossed for your aunt! I hope she makes a full recovery

I used to get my partner to check mine...

Now I always see the doctor. I have so much scar tissue it's difficult to feel new lumps

I do religiously, both my mum, aunt and great aunt had breast cancer, all maternal line. It sits in the back of my mind constantly.

A friend of mine bumped into an old mate of his who he'd not seen for a while, my friend asked him why hed not been about lately, he told him that he'd had Testicular Cancer. On parting, his friend told him to check himself, one returning home, he did just that, he'd found a lump, it was cancer. It was very early stages and he's had it removed.

So check, check and check, takes minutes and could add decades to your life.
