In the middle

This was me a few weeks ago, left work went trundling up the a444 to the Rico, then back down the a444 to pick my son up from work, lucky for me it popped 2 mins from his work so I managed to limp along to his car park then had to wait 3 hours for the RAC as it was a Friday afternoon in the rush hour and they were busy

My car came with tyre weld and a compressor but a tyre place told me that tyre weld is not good for punctures near the side wall. I spent £100 on a space saver spare wheel and I feel a lot safer with it.

Exactly, it was useless as mine had blew out the side

You know that's illegal right?

Technically if the fuzz stop and you have no means to replace a flat tyre you could get points, same way a flat or bald spare could result in an MOT failure.

Secret hideaway in the pennines

I have had that happen to me, I have a 1937 Austin, tyre blew on the M60, had to flag someone down and get a lift with the wheel to a tyre place

Dubai & Nottingham

Last few cars I bought don’t even have a space for a space saver , you have to use runflats.

Not a legal requirement

Quite a lot of cars don’t come with spares. BMW don’t supply

Having a spare is not a legal requirement. Lot of new cars Don't come with a spare unless you order it at the time you buy the car. It is due to weight and fuel economy so is an option.

If you have a spare that is either flat or bald it would likely fail MOT. If you took said spare tire out left it at home then no MOT failure

Wrong, not endorsable at all. Spare isn't part of the mot either.
