" I'd of thought even with what technology and rehab he was given it would have been his determination and will to get to where he is now. He did a great inspirational challenge that's what I was acknowledging. | |||

Though I don't begrudge him it." Certainly don't begrudge it at all. My FWB is a below the knee amputee and the NHS was completely unable to offer him anything to get him properly mobile again. His rehab has been accelerated only by private care, paid for through the compensation after his accident but that took years to come through and some damage is now permanent. It sounds straightforward to just get amputees up and "running" (or driving) but people who get complex devices are almost certainly benefitting from some sort of private or charity funded rehab and prosthetics. | |||
