The right place

Bluebells are usually at the end of April/ beginning of May in woodlands, a bit earlier in a sunny hedgerow.

Lots of primroses coming out now though. Spring is in the air.

Haven't poked their multitudinous heads over the parapet yet. Daffs and snowdrops are out though.

Too many lazy ones in my garden. Most don't stand to attention ...

I've hyacinths, tulips, cowslips and primroses blooming. I've seen wild violets out, but no bluebells yet.

There are scilla out at the moment, which look like mini bluebells. Proper bluebells won't be out for a few weeks yet.

I saw my first two hyacinths of the year this morning. Went to smell them without realising I still had a mask on. What a dolt!
