London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

I was watching some daytime telly and someone bought/sold some old posters. That got me wondering why posters stopped becoming a thing.

I used to enjoy going through the racks in Athena or Woolworths, HMV, Our Price etc.

My first proper posters were WWF wrestling ones followed by Baywatch. Then I had movie posters and Eminem when I got to university. I even had the cat with 'shit happens' poster. Everyone already had the Che Guevara one.

Yeah, sorry if anyone thought this thread was going to be interesting and juicy and discussing other forum thread posters.

Solihull

Possibly because teens bedrooms weren't full of tech giving 24/7 access to social media, iPhones etc

So posters were there for a bit of escapism.

What about the centre pages of magazines that were designed the be removed and put on the walk with classic blue tac
