So with lockdown almost ending.

Who else has lost the will with fab and isnt planning to meet anyone even after its safe to do so?

I can’t wait to go out to clubs again but not looking to meet at mine currently. It would have to be an interesting scenario for me to want someone to come around to mine.

I may book a hotel in Blackpool around July and just go out partying and if I pull, great

Not the site itself as the friends I've made from here are priceless, but yes, meets etc are something that just thinking about makes me shudder.

This past year has been a difficult one and people haven't perhaps behaved as they would under normal circumstances, however I've seen a side to humanity that makes my skin crawl.

Add to that I'm still kinda wary of motivations, lies, people who aren't really single.... well, an excited vagina it does not make.

It's not that we don't want to meet, it's that we aren't sure when we will feel that it's genuinely safe to have someone you don't know in your very close, personal space.

I think for lots of people it's going to take a while

I am in good place relationship wise which, in itself, has reduced my interest in seeking out fun

I think added to that, much of my time is spent caring for my parents, which takes spare time out of my calendar and is also a sapper of emotional and physical ability

I am getting older too, my sex drive is nothing like it was 3 years ago and my interest in trying new things out is stifled

Moreover, the idea of getting to know someone intimately, taking time out to do so and then actually going through with it fills me more with dread than it does with lust

To that end, although I list women and couples on here, I recognise that any meets I do have are likely to be with guys who want nothing more to get their rocks off there and then... and that's cool, as long as both parties know what they want and take nothing more than a quick cum from it

Same not just hear for the forums though did try them out before way back in like 2014 but my dyslexia didn’t go over to well

Forums have keep me around hear or would probably have left and came back when things were better

Definitely be sticking around the forums even when fun’s back on

It's the hospital appointments that do it to me physically, at least 3 times a week currently, 5 & 6 hours a day including travel

Like tomorrow she has two, one in the morning for one thing and a second, at a different hospital, late afternoon for something else

Before we even start, we're at 3 to 3.5 hours travelling

That's rough. You can't get hospital transport? I know it's not easy, my mum had to be nearly bloody dead and I had to point blank refuse to have her in my car.

Saw this post and had to comment as we were thinking the same. It was an off hand remark from a policeman that got us thinking and he said 'It you think lockdown is bad, wait untill you see the problems come after with mental health.' Obviously he meant it in the kindest way but he was apprehensive as to what it implied with community work and associated problems. This lead us to think that it's wiser to wait and focus on our priorities. We want to see family more, take breaks away, enjoy stressfree times, make new friends, do other things etc that is not rooted in sexual exploration. We as a couple are totally happy in and out of the bedroom so any extra fun is just that, extra. We can easily do without.

What cemented the thought was looking over our block list to see the absolute nut jobs we had to deal with online in a short space of time and the absolute volatility and nastiness that they brought to the table with it.

Let's be honest, you're all assuming it's single guys, but more and more couples are vile too. The level of narcissism is ridicolous. For us, the lockdown exposed a lot of people and how they really are online and not a hope would we consider meeting them in reality. The other thing is these 'crazies' are more exposed online now and easier to spot, so our ratio per 10 is to block 8, chat 2, meet 0 as an example. The forums are fun, the jokes are funny, but at times it looks like the patients are running the asylum and that's no joke!

Quite simply yes I’ll be meeting people, not because I’m irresponsible, or have my priorities wrong or any other negative brush people want to tar me with.

I’ll go about life as I mean to live, and I’ll be just as I was pre covid... which was selective anyway!

I enjoy being able to converse, and giving oral, I would defo need to trust the person
