Nicely trimmed and well cared for stubble. I went on a date with a lovely guy once, but a smelly beard, I could smell his across the table. Put me off dinner and soon made excuse to go.

I guess that was a bushy type of beard? Never heard of a beard smelling before but if its got old dinners or birds nesting in it then i can imagine a bit of a pen and ink.

Theres plenty of nice beard oils available now for gents to apply to keep them healthy, available in most high street chemists and larger supermarkets

Not a fan of the beard oils myself.

But wash the beard every day in the shower with beard shampoo

After 20 years of beard I shaved mine off for Covid, so that I could wear a mask properly... loved the feeling of a smooth shave so much, that I ended up doing my whole head.
