I was incredibly nervous too but I don't think it was the jab...it was more being out in public for the first time in ages. I found it painless however. You'll be grand.

Don't be nervous I had mine 4 weeks ago and yes my arm did hurt for a few days but no other problems.

The staff at the centres are really lovely and if you are nervous just tell them and they will be really supportive.

We had ours last Saturday and other than a tender arm and slight head ache all good.

It literally takes minutes, if it the AZ you don't have to wait after having it.

I got mine on Friday. I pass out when I have needles. I'm going to take plenty drink and sugar snack. Then find place sit with my head down. I know it's got be done to keep people safe.

I’ve got mine on Saturday - hate injections because I always cry. So stupid and embarrassing. But I really want this vaccine after seeing a close friend so ill with Covid.

I’m similar and will warn them. I’ll be keeping my headphones in to drown out any noise and eyes focused on the ceiling as much as possible, wiggling my toes and spare hand, just seeing one is enough to tip me over. Good luck for Friday, mine is Monday
