Which do you do?

If you’re annoyed, so you say, did it depend who it is?

Do you cry or hold it in?

Do you show your jealousy/anger/sadness?

all of the above.

scorpio sun, aries moon, libra rising.

basically a psycho.. but decent rack and always has tequila.. Sooo

hate showing emotion, and will often pretend i don't have any. pretend im fine until i actually am. hate crying, yet it happens often. mainly when im angry! never hold my tongue though.

It all depends what I'm feeling, if I'm feeling happy or sad or the things I might be sad about.

Sometimes I want to let everything out and others I just think I will keep it to myself

I used to try and suppress every thing. For years I put on a front and pretended I was always ok. It made me ill.

I have bipolar disorder, acute anxiety disorder and ptsd. Ignoring my feelings and trying to suppress my emotions isn't healthy for me (or arguably anyone else).

I allow myself to feel things now and work through my emotions and I'm much healthier and stronger mentally for it.

I can't suppress my emotions even if I don't express them to others. They'll be make their way known. Though how this happens may, I can cry with frustration, and go all quiet and contemplative. Or I can massively get annoyed which means I'm about to do something pro active.

And it's not all about bad emotions either though these conversations usually focus on the bad.

I am much better at expressing things now, previously I had a tendency to disassociate, and shut down, but I’ve worked on that.

My psychiatrist says I have EUPD amongst other lables so my emotions can range. Generally I mix my emotions up to the point where even I don't know how I should of reacted.

I try to supress them but just usually end up blubbing. A lot of the time if my emotions are a result of someone else's behaviour, I prefer to deal with my emotions alone and then once I've calmed down have a calm, rational conversation about it. I'll tell them how I felt but I don't think you often achieve anything productive while very upset or angry.

I used to be stoic and try to hold my resentment, anger or sadness inside but it was incredibly toxic.

I’ve learnt to direct it correctly and in an appropriate manner before it gets to any sort of issue. I’ve found that it might take me a little time to process emotions but once I have, I’ll confront the reasons for them, whether they’re personal or professional. It’s far healthier and more constructive that way

They does not mean anyone else needs to witness it or feel my emotions. I do it mostly in private, my way, then no one gets the back lash of my thoughts for something that has nothing to do with them.

I am quite open with my emotions, and it has varying degrees of success on how its received xx

If someone has personally annoyed me I'd rather tell them, hate conflict or drama but I would rather have it out in the open and discussed if needs be as I'd rather have it hopefully sorted so I'm no longer annoyed.

Wouldn't bother mentioning it if it wasn't directed at me personally though as in if I seen something that annoyed me that someone shared, I wouldn't necessarily then post and say you've annoyed me you have etc.

As for crying, I do find just letting it out easier than bottling it up in my head as it gives me a terrible headache, a little cry every now and again doesn't hurt nobody.

I can hide what I don't want people to see but sometimes it's hard to or I won't hide my feelings.

Actually i rethought my reply..

On balance, whilst I think i am an open book, i am actually really good at disguising how i feel - it takes a lot to break me - and therefore i doubt you'd know if you'd upset me

I look internally at what is driving any angst and try to resolve on my own with calm, rational thoughts. I often know the right path, but sometimes can't help being as asshole, but that is rare (i think). It mostly works, but takes effort

It is easier for me to cut people out of my life, than tackle someone head on.. I came from a childhood of violence and addiction, so i abhor conflict and any drama ... If i let rip, then every single one of my buttons has been pressed, and there is usually no return lol
