Tatooine

In the Hindu religion a ghost has either just not found a new life yet or if someboy dies early, it is just there Karma of that life running down.

I have a video of something that walked behind me when I was rehearsing at home once, quite spooky. I also heard there were a couple of bi male ghosts in an old local church that used to run around the building putting the willies up each other

We have a ghost that we inherited from when we lived in Worlaby. George was a local lad who was killed in 1917 in Belgium. He follows the family round from ours, to mum & dad's to both our daughters places

I’ve not had any experiences and I’m a scientist and enjoy debunking some of the rubbish on TV, but I still think there is some amazing unexplained stuff out there and I have said that at end of career I’d love to do paranormal investigations. I definitely don’t rule it out and would be equally excited and terrified to find something

I've seen two ghost like things I could not explain, but since I was walking home from the pub for the first, and rolling a splif during the second event I have zero credibility as a witness.....

22 Acacia Ave, Preston-for now

My apartment is built where the hall town was originally and I have video’s of orbs(it actually looks like snow in the living room, there’s that many),strange noises through the night, the feeling of being watched while I’m asleep and the cat is sometimes watching the living room door as though someone is there...

Oh,and if it’s quiet enough you can hear the carpet getting trodden on as though someone is walking on,but no one is there...

I’m not scared as whatever it is doesn’t hurt me or break anything around the house...

Just wish it would help with the rent

I don't believe ghosts are dead people come back to life and I don't think we have anything to fear from them. I do think it's possible to see images from the past, mostly the recent past. Nobody ascfar as I know has ever reported seeing a neolithic ghost for instance.

Don't be afraid of the dead, the living will do you much more harm

I can't bring myself to believe in ghosts simply because what qualifies one scorned dead person to become a ghost, over the next scorned dead person? There'd be millions of them and we'd see them regularly.

They are not always scorned, some are just waiting etc. My grandfather was seen until grandma died, then never seen again. He would be stood in the lounge, shake his head and fade away. He was just waiting.

Yes and my advise to you would be to seek the help from a priest who has experience of carrying out exorcism.

We live in an old Victorian house, our little boy used to say he had seen an old lady in the lounge sitting in a rocking chair, we put it down to a child’s imagination until I asked one of our elderly neighbours about the house who told me an old lady who lived there used to sit in a rocking chair looking out of the bay window, not seen her for a few years now

What he said.

I love hearing tales of what people see, and also non believers that have had their minds opened which something they see with their own eyes.

Ghosts are a real thing to me.

I saw my dad standing in my garden a few weeks after he died, he was smiling and looking straight in at me and disappeared after a few seconds.

I found it very comforting but I think my brain was just doing some crazy shit. I think sometimes we forget just how powerful the mind is.

I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts.

I definitely do after I've watched a scary movie though.

Bradford

Was playing hide and seek as a child and hid in a wardrobe. I was 11 years old I believe.

Looking in the pitch black wardrobe through the crack in the door to see if my brother was looking for me an an old lady walked past from the doorway towards what is a wall. No transparent stuff like you see on movies just looked exactly like a normal person would. I wasn't scared just for a couple of seconds I remember thinking whos this in our house. Then I opened the doors looked to the left and obviously nobody was there. Was a bit scared but it wasn't a scary image just a clear old short lady.

My mum still lives in that house and both my brothers and mum see shadows moving around but I've never seen anything in the 25+ years since that.

A lady did die in that houses living room before we moved in however the lady who died was supposedly middle aged and overweight and bed ridden so this isn't the lady I saw however this house was built on foundations of other houses.

I've not seen anything since then in any way anywhere else either.

On a mooch

At school returning after Christmas break, a couple of us were off to the computer room, as we walked past the kitchen we saw the school dog on the kitchen table. We went and told the headmaster who responded ‘not possible as she died over the Christmas break’.

Let’s say that wasn’t the only odd instance in that building. So yes I believe

I’m not convinced ghosts as we know them are dead folk. Maybe an echo? I’m a big believer in the idea that there’s different layers of existence (every religious system that’s ever existed says the same thing and they can’t all be wrong). I think we might be seeing glimpses through the veil at these other ‘realms’ when we see the unexplainable. And even then it’s only unexplainable as we understand our world now. With a bit more research we might get a scientific, empirical explanation for it all.

No, its either tricky of the light or people seeing what they want to see. If they existed, we wouldn't be able to move for ghosts, far more people have died than currently exist on earth, not to mention, why is it always human ghosts, why don't we also have billions of animal and dinosaur ghosts running around the place

Could you photograph one? Do two people ever see the same ghost? Could you record temperature changes or wired phenomenon in haunted rooms?

Serious questions as I'd love to believe in ghosts, I'm just too sceptical.

As mentioned before on here i didnt until i moved into my home i always said it was fantasy. However i bought my home renovation project it was a run down wreck in one of the most haunted villages of the uk. Ive had so so many issues in this house from doors slamming, one room in particular guests have felt a heavy weight/person holding them down in bed (i leave this room locked its in the original part of the house) people being pushed on the stairs.

ive had so many people round to sort the issue but to no avail. It was by chance i mentioned it at the village hall meating and nora a 93 year old women said 'ohhh well in the 50s such and such murdered his wife in that house and he passed away in 1989 and until you bought it no one has lived there" now ive found nothing that backs it up but my god i have issues in this house.

No. Ghosts do not exist.

Why is ' Oh it must be a dead person' ...... what people think simply because they saw a fuzzy reflection or heard a noise... ??

Serious Question - I'd really enjoy someone proving to be beyond all doubt that ghosts exist.

They see what they want to see.

Religious systems are wrong in such respects. Religions are systems of belief. Systems of beliefs produced by men. They are not truths.

I've seen and heard things many, many times, including people that I know or discovered afterwards are dead.

I don't have an explanation for any of these things. I don't think that they are the souls of the dead coming back to give me a message, who can't "cross over" or who are tied to one place by a tragic event. I know I've experienced things that I can't explain but that doesn't mean there is no explanation.

I do know that human beings are capable of picking up visual and verbal clues unconsciously that their minds will put together to form an explanation that's "acceptable to them". I think we can all feel certain energies, nobody bats an eyelid when someone describes an atmosphere in a house or a restaurant.

Because I'm curious about these things I went to several psychic evenings, nothing I experienced convinced me of anything but the power of the human mind.
