"I'm afraid the foundation on the bridge of the glasses is an ongoing battle, that and getting them caught in my hair when they're on the top of my head which is where they spend half their time (only need for reading)! Welcome to the sexy specs club Mrs C xx " I need mine for screens and seeing more than about 2m away so I've hardly taken them off since I got them! I actually have no idea how I was functioning!

"I don't realise how bad my eyes are until I put my glasses on. I only really need them for reading. Fuck me, instructions on food products or other labels are just not happening. No chance. They're defo getting worse at distance stuff now too tho, I can't read the telly guide on the screen, but it's not a big telly." Need to get you some varifocals. I vote the old style like my grandad had with the clear line through them

"I have worn glasses since I was a child... I don't often have problem getting makeup on them though. My eyesight is so bad I can't see to put makeup on properly without them. I have to wear contact lenses to wear makeup. " I was thinking about this the other day when doing my make up and being grateful my very close up vision is pretty good.

I've actually had a request to spunk on them.

"I've finally accepted I really do need glasses, they are just so bloody expensive ! " This was what I was thinking but I got a pretty good deal at specsavers. Still over £100 when you include the test but I was expecting to pay £100s.

"I had glasses for reading and ended up with them constantly perched on the end of my nose. I've got variofocals this week, so K isn't given the school ma'am look any longer C" Oh I got varifocals last year, I love them, means I don’t need to take a bag just to carry all my glasses now. Just sunglasses and normal

"I actually prefer wearing glasses as they hide my wonky nose! But yes, on the rare occasion I wear makeup, they're filthy from foundation & mascara. Also, have you discovered the joy of them steaming up every time you put a face mask on? Oh the joys of it all! X" Luckily I've worked with glasses wearers through the whole pandemic and picked up a few tricks. They steam up when I get too hot when wearing a mask though .

Still over £100 when you include the test but I was expecting to pay £100s." I recently had to upgrade to varifocals, rather than single vision. I had to choose cheaper frames than I would like - £89 - as the cost of the lenses was £215. At least I got free sunglasses from Specsavers!!

I use Asda and have been Really impressed with the quality and price. Wouldn't ever go back to my local Specsavers... far too many bad experiences with them.

I've tried every bloody trick & none of them work " Making the nose pinch extra pointy and resting my glasses bridge on the mask works for me. If it still happens I twist the ear loops so the top of the mask is diagonally more angled. They hurt your ears quicker like that though so I try to avoid it if I can as I have to wear one all day.

" Yes, I do that. And the twisty ear loop thing too. I guess it's cos I'm at home most of the time, so when I do go out, it takes a while for them to acclimatise. I should just sit and wait in my car & not be so impatient! Poor you, though. I'd hate to wear them all day xx

"I always have to wipe the nose area each time I take my makeup off and mascara can be an issue too. I think the worst thing about glasses is having to wear them with face masks. I get so stressed out. Oh and when you lose your glasses and look everywhere for them and then realise you're wearing them. " Oh lemon

I've sat on my glasses and broke about three pairs. O.o you have a juicy booty so you'll definitely break yours at some stage too. You should let someone jizz on them for you it is quite hot and fun to clean.

However, how do you ladies deal with the issue of make up or am I now just resigned to a life of constantly wiping my foundation off them? " Make-up finger prints on the lenses are a total pain . I can do mascara without them but need them for tweezers ... which means trying to do eyebrows with glasses wonky half on my face so I can see with one eye to do the other eye ... can’t wait for salons to open

"I don't realise how bad my eyes are until I put my glasses on. I only really need them for reading. Fuck me, instructions on food products or other labels are just not happening. No chance. They're defo getting worse at distance stuff now too tho, I can't read the telly guide on the screen, but it's not a big telly. Need to get you some varifocals.
