yes, its 5 pounds for a couple of months, the site doesnt pay for its self, those that dont i dont understand

It's a few quid a month, I use the site a lot, mainly reading the forums, so it's hardly an imposition to contribute less than the cost of a drink on a night out.

If you want to be active on here, I think it's only right to pay. We expect too much for free, forgetting that it costs to run things. I paid for a silver membership for a few months at a time by PayPal I think and will renew when that's up.

The only person that can decide if it's worth it OP is you - depends how much the additional features it offers are of use to you, and how much value you place on helping support the site.

Personally I think I've always been a site supporter, apart from maybe the odd couple of days where I've forgotten to renew, not necessarily because of the extra features, but to help support a site I use a fair bit - and at £5/month I don't consider it a huge expenditure to do that - but that's just my personal view and don't think better or worse of people for choosing to do the same or not.

Not everyone can afford it.

Not everyone makes use of the extra features it gives you access to.

Tis perfectly reasonable not to upgrade IMO, I didn't for many years.

Stoke- Newcastle staffs

Over the Years i have used Text & phone call to renew.

Now the only way i do it as i find it works out cheaper and lasts longer is by debit card £12.50 for 130 days. I Renewed in feb and that will last untill the middle of July.

What ever way you chose its is worth having.
