Really missing a spin class!

It's not the same in your garage despite how loud you make your music and bright you make the LEDs!

Any other spin fans or anyone else craving to be back and getting their sweat on?

I miss heavy weights and just the act of going to the gym and getting in the zone. I find it very therapeutic.

Do love a good spin class.

I have a peloton but it’s not the same and I find I don’t push myself as hard.

I miss lifting weights in the gym and wheelchair basketball training/matches.

I also miss having people in the running club to keep up with on 5/10k. Having people running ahead picks up my pace and motivates me uphills

I have definitely put on weight... Have to wiggle into all my bottoms now... I dare not bend over if i do squeeze into my leggings... Might have to start off with the reinforced ones !

Cannot wait for the gyms to open, absolutely love the endorphin rush that you get after training.

Bought some resistance bands and used them only the once.....*face palm* guess it’s just not the same

We're both missing it very much, the only place we would consistently go. It's been like being shut out of your home.

The first week back will be hell, newbie soreness all over again

I’m a PT and I miss taking the classes !

The zoom sessions are not for me ...

I like to create an atmosphere and energy that is electric and you can only feel that in person

I agree a big part of what I’m missing is being in that zone, the atmosphere it’s motivating itself.

I'm really missing the leg press and lifting heavy weights. Since gyms have been shut I've put my back out doing really stupid stuff because I haven't been able to exercise properly

We both miss is massively even though we're lucky to have a great gym in the garage. Different atmosphere, lots of our friends train there, bigger range of equipment etc

Not long now though

At least you can all go back to lifting normally, I'm trying to rebuild my broken bits and it's frustrating only lifting stupid light weights

I'm going back to my local gym tomorrow. We are working in groups of 6 people, outdoors. I really can't wait. I have missed it so much.

So jealous of you right now. Not opening in Scotland till end of April and can't wait. I'll likely have to drop the weights again for my programme but will be glad to be lifting at all again. It does so much for my mood, it's fantastic. Missing it so!

I miss the range of weights available but that's about it. I used to run on a treadmill and row but it is very tedious and I was looking to switch to a cycling machine anyway. As it happens I have switched to cycling paths and trails which I enjoy far more. I may go back just for the weights and resistance machines, although even that is looking doubtful.
