Anyone else use Google Lens while on Fab?

I started using it and it's helped me avoid some convincing fake profiles.

Can use it to search using a photo. So you can see where the photo originates from or has been shared. For example someone messaged me today and sent me their pics. But it was of someone in LA who had their location of posting on.

It has other features such as taking a live pic and searching etc.

So say for example if I post a pic to Facebook and post the same pic on here.. it can tell you where exactly it was uploaded from?

When you search pic posted here, the facebook page may come up. I have noticed it with Twitter results and blogs. It doesn't always pull a result but there are times where it does. Its helped me avoid catfishers who share pics of someone else.

OK. In a way that's handy and scary all at the same time. All my pics are my own of course and as a single guy, it doesn't bother me as such, minus landing me in hot water with work at least but just thinking about ladies that do post here could have their images searched and potentially open up to all sorts of trouble. Not saying everyone has that same intention but you just never know really what people could do when hiding behind a screen

True. But I doubt people posting explicit pics on here would post same in their social media viewed by work colleagues, friends and fam.

No. Personally, I am pretty sure I will not be talking to a fake account without the need to check with google lense or other apps.

I have a pixel 5 so I use quite regularly but never used it on fab though...yet.

Its good for locating where to buy items that you may see in a pic. That's how i discovered patch plants

I just right clicked my mouse on a pic and selected Google search

Used it to too find out the beautiful but girl from New York I was chatting too on hangouts was using the pic of an Instagram model from california.

I checked when she asked for money instant block and delete

A lady in the forums has just had a guy stalk her on Facebook, this is could well be how he found her.

That bit at the end should have ended in a block, I wouldn’t need to google for that.

I have been using image search program for a long time. But they are infallible, who ever uses

someone else's pictures can just slightly alter them by various methods and they will not be found so you still have to take caution.

And it pays to use different search programs, as you get different results.

Be careful if you put a nice pi ture on here and then want to put it on Facebook. Had a friends couple who did that and the picture was watermarked with their profile name and said fabswingers on it too. So their family members noticed and asked them about it and they had to explain about being on here.
