What makes you feel good, confident or positive?

For as long as I can remember I've hated my body and how I look.

I can fake confidence in certain scenarios and I'm very happy and confident in work scenarios, usually because the focus isn't on me it's about helping someone else.

Two years ago I took up Burlesque and having the alternative persona gives me confidence and permission to embrace my body and escape from my own self doubts.

I wonder what things do that for you?

Probably age, acceptance of all of me, and a drive not to feel bogged down mood wise with insecurity

Den of Iniquity

I'm not a fan of my face tbh , only in the last year or so have I learnt that I'm maybe not that terrible after all , and as a result i have face pics and cam now .

I also think acceptance plays a part , accept what you have and flaunt it .

I'm glad you have some confidence now xx

Oh wow! I’d love to try burlesque, would also love to pole dance.

Confidence for me comes in waves, some days I don’t feel great others I feel good just depends - at the end of the day I just accept how I feel and keep flowing through life!

As far as your body's concerned, you've got nothing to worry about there.

Fresh air and exercise does that for me, if i get in a good routine of exercise it makes me feel alot more confident in my myself. Also the confidence after just having a haircut is 2nd to none.

Chippenham Malmesbury area

I used lack confidence in just about everything I did, in particular, I hated standing up in front of people and talking. I was a very good runner though and was really fit so I enrolled on a fitness instructor course. Once qualified, everything changed for me, I became very self confident; at first, only when instructing, then later, with everything I did.

Doing the course was a massive challenge for me, I felt so out of my depth and I really struggled but I persevered and past. After that my life changed but it wasn't a quick fix, it took many, many years for me to feel confident within myself; making myself step outside of my comfort zone played a big role in this.

Shiny happy people make me feel confident. This is true, people I talk to. An empath? Maybe, but i feel good when they feel good.

Now imagine how I feel when I give her an orgaam

What makes me confident, good question..

My self worth not selling my self short in any area of life, being comfortable in my own skin, accept what I have n what I am, recognising and acknowledgement of both the good news bad about myself. But overall knowing me and that self awareness that I have

I have gotten more confident with age. I always used to worry about what people thought but now I’m more this is me like it or lump it. I need to be happy in myself though to be confident and right now I’m not but that can be changed by me so it’s no big deal x

Age and hindsight I think. Ive always been insecure about how I look, and I look back at pics of when I was younger, now I am old and crinkly, and think damn I wasnt too bad and why didnt I have more confidence

I am trying to grow my hair and I think everything will be right with the world again. It stubbornly refuses so may be a long wait

Burlesque is something I have been considering taking up and to help me with my body confidence is one of the reasons why. At the moment I am just watching lots of YouTube videos but I am hoping I'll have the courage to join a class once they start up again.

Swinging has actually helped me a lot with my confidence. Seeing how other people see me instead of what I see when I look in the mirror.

Kx
