So Mr Duke man from bridgerton is reading the bed time story on c beebies this mother's day. They've done similar for Tom Hardy before and the female population on a lot of Facebook posts are going crazy for it!

But......

It might be mh recent grumpalump setting i seem to be set on but isn't apoealling to thousands of horny and frustrated women a big odd for a kids TV programme?

If it was a fit young woman being advertised and all the dads were excited about bex time story time there would be uproar, the show would be cancelled and everyone labelled a pervert!

We were talking about that last night. The kids dont give a fuck who this guy is at that age but wonder why mummy is drooling

And if it was done the other way on fathers day it would be shocking.

Like heres a storybook dads and the woman of your dreams. Do try to hide those erections while you sit with your kids and watch. Eeewwww

You can’t tell people what they can and cannot find sexy.

I think it’s terrific that as a species we find so many different things attractive in each other.

I might do a bedtime story video and see if it gets me sexualised by fans yummy mummy’s.

I'm not telling people what they can and can't find attractive Sam.... I'm saying it's weird that the mums (and dad's and other care givers) are getting all horny over bedtime story time on c beebies

Most likely. Although when my son used to sit down for the bed time story I got excited for David Hasselhoff doing it.

Done different voices, hammed it up for the kids. 10/10

My sons are too old for bedtime stories now but I will most certainly check out the Duke!

My ex used to write and film himself reading me the stories, usually suited up or dressed in t, it worked for me!

But by highlighting it as weird you are essentially saying they can’t find it attractive.

My point was that it’s perfectly acceptable in my mind and not weird at all.

I personally always found the presenters and adult women in the children’s programs my kids watched very sexy, far sexier than other women on television that are purposely aimed more at being sexy.

Rachael Riley gets drooled over and commented about so does Nigella. Loads of weather girls. Don't see why there would be any difference with CBeebies. The women enjoyed Tom. Let the guys have their titillation

Ok.... Its weird that they are specifically marketing it at horny mums etc on a kids TV show.... Better?

I personally find him very attractive and would welcome him reading to me...but just not biff and Kipper.

Thqt can be true. Its just a funny and odd idea that they do this every year for mothersday like here have some eye candy we have got the hottest guy around. And mumsnett and stuff get so hyped up with really graffic stuff of what they would do to them lol.

Like a steak being thrown to wolves.

But just we see it as a bit of fun.

But if a kids show got a hot woman on for fathers day aimed at giving dads eyecandy. They probably wouldnt get the idea past anyone and the thing would be scrapped

Kids tv is like most things these days... powered by commercialisation and to get the biggest audience is the goal.

Parents decide what channel to watch.

It’s no surprise that the creators make the product appealing to parents in any way they can.

You’re right about Biff and kipper though, such crap books.

The hungry caterpillar or going on a bear hunt are more to my tastes.

The gruffalos child read by Victoria coren Mitchell if any one from the networks are reading this, thank you.

I agree with you. I imagine that if for instance Rachel Riley was reading the bedtime story on cBeebies and it was advertised in a way that suggested men would find it sexy there would be protest. If men started a thread on here about it I'm pretty sure women would object. Promote her time stories by all means but aim the promotion at the children who are being read to or if you are going to target parents don't use physical attraction to the reader. This does not mean that people shouldn't find the reader attractive, it means that attraction shouldn't be used as a marketing tool in this instance, in my opinion

I think it makes perfect sense, a little perk in amongst the drudgery of domestic life for worn out mums of small children. And what's more attractive than a man who is in touch with his nurturing side?
