I miss living in that there London place

Moved away 20 year's ago.

Mostly don't miss all the ball ache of being a tradesmen working in London and that.

But I do miss the diversity and the fact there's always something going on and how much there is too do.

That said I'm a boring old fart now and would probably complain about the noise!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's weird in London. The centre is eerily quiet and the villages that make up London are too busy. The Furlough Folk are using local amenities they previously ignored.

I love London but I want to see the sea.

Mate I live there now, and it's terrible, I'm a tradesman too and it's not good working here, but yeah I'm with you on the diversity, I love hearing so many different languages all day.

I know the part I'm moving to well and its a great location, far enough outside the center to avoid all the crowds, tourists and noise but close enough to the centre when we want a piece of the action. X

I like the occasional visit to London, as I believe it is genuinely one of the worlds greatest cities with many fantastic attractions.

But I’m glad I don’t live there and have no intention to, I’m quite happy being a simple country boy out in the sticks

I miss my life in the south. I was near Guildford and loved it. I've been back home for 11 years now and still wonder if I made the right decision!

On a mooch

It’s my home and I love it from the hustle and bustle of the centre if you want it, to discovering quiet places you forget you are in the capital. There really is something for all tastes.

The culture and the diversity is why I stayed here when my kid was born.

I love Yorkshire but also like a day trip to London. It's beautiful in It's own way but just as a visitor, i could never live there.. far too busy

I lived there for 8 years from 95 to 03. Back then the London Eye was still the millenium wheel, Canary Wharf was the tallest building, Trafalger Square was unpedestrianised, and there were no oyster cards or Boris bikes.

It seems like a different city now.

Never lived in London but miss visiting (for work or pleasure). Normally go couple of times a year...Will be back soon hopefully
