If everyone is removed from a group does the group disappear?!

I think I've been kicked out of a work one and I dint know why lol

They're saying everyone has been kicked out but the group is still there and has 5 participants!

I'm in a weird state of 'fuck you' and pissed off lol

The last member will automatically become admin for the group when the last person lea es the group should end

test it out with some friends

but normally if i leave a group all the history stays on my phone til i delete it so would it not just be the same for everyone else - your phone probably just thinks there is 5 because at the point you were kicked out there was 5
