If you are a massive F1 fan do you?

1, Support a f1 team all the time

or

2, Do you support a driver and follow him as he transfers to other teams in his career

I use to love McLaren when David Coulthard and Mika hakkinen.

I'm liking lando Norris these days and hope he improves on last season

I’d follow the driver between teams, not stick with a team with a new driver lineup.

Driver, for me. Have followed Hamilton since he came into F1 and I’m keeping an eye on George Russell....

Neither for me, I just like the whole spectacle. Although I do love it when our English drivers or teams are doing well.

Mrs is a little different, she roots for Lewis and Mercedes, but also wants Max, Lando, Carlos and George to do well.

The coming season is going to be interesting, possibly quite dramatic.

I tend to be a driver fan over team, but have teams I like.

As a (very) small child it was Jackie Stewart (who I got to meet a few times) and Emmerson Fittipladi. Lauda (again got to meet) and Gilles Villeneuve. Always a huge Prost and Senna fan, and a huge part of F1 died for me when he lost his life at Imola. Schumacher... great driver.

Now, I just enjoy great racing, and hopefully we will get some this year. Sadly, the turbo hybrid era and tight restrictions on testing have given Mercedes a total advantage which I believe is negative for F1.

This year, I'd love to see McLaren do well, and LeClerc to grab a few wins at Ferrari. Locally, I hope Honda progress with Red Bull and I'll be interested to see how Perez fairs there. I liked Albon. Rooting for Alpha tour too.

Yep I'm a fan.

I was very fortunate growing up to be able to attend a fair few gp's with pit passes etc.

I remember being about 14 and being asked to leave the Venturi pit as my pass was for a rival team!

Team all the way for me. I'm a McLaren papaya girl and loving having Danny Ric in the seat.

McLaren Supporter, with a soft spot for Williams, and (yes I know) I'm a Hamilton fan, yes decisive and all, but hey is such a gifted driver.

I also follow Lando and Danny Ric too, both brilliant drivers, and great on and off the track.

Although I love the technology behind F1, it's what makes me watch, and on that basis I'm a Merc fan, they seem to bring the innovation every year.

When i used to watch F1 I didnt particualy have a team per se

I did have an unhealthy obession with Nigel Mansell as a child

I tend to only watch Endurance GT racing now which I tend to follow either Nick Tandy (He lives very close and i did some of the catering for his brother funeral) or Kévin Estre, but they both drive for Porshe

a village near Haywards Heath in East Sussex

I am not into celebrities but I do admire courage and skill in F1 but I include in that all those who design and build the cars and infrastructure. The engineering is as interesting to me as the Racing .

Lost interest in F1 years ago and became more of a fan of the Aussie Supercars, though my favourite driver in that series has retired. So now my favourite driver will be shed dwelling Britcar rookie Jimmy Broadbent

For me it's odd, because football I support one team and one team only, but F1 I tend to like the sport as a whole. My interest was around the Coulthard / Mclaren era, and since then I've followed the different stories with interest across the sport, without ever singularly supporting any one...
