If there is anyone with knowledge about financial matters or mortgages, is now a good time to buy and sell a house?

What are rates expected to do in the near future? And what are houses prices expected to do?

Thanks in advance

I’m not one, myself, but I use a company called Rapport. They are free and get their charges directly from the financial provider. They have helped me with my mortgage over the years, and they are helping me with my pension too. Let me know if you want their web address.

Definitely speak to someone

I am in the process of re-mortgaging

The rates offered through brokers are often much lower % wise than what is available directly to us

1 to 1.5% might not sound a lot, but it is the difference, to me, of a months shopping bill

The brokers will get their pay out from the lender

While stamp duty is still off the cards and rates are lower ,especially when you go through brokers , I would say go for it if you can
