Anyone got a washer dryer? If so, are there any pros / cons with them?

The seals tend to go on them.

Dry heat & wet heat doesn't do well on most rubbers.

"And apart from the obvious you can’t do both at the same time! It makes laundry twice as long, great if you live alone and don’t have much to do and practical if you don’t have the space. Also, if one breaks the other is practically useless as you have to replace the broken one anyway. "

Just get an ordinary washer, and one of those clothes drying racks that hoist up to your kitchen ceiling. (Ref. Toyah and Roberts Sunday Lunch videos...)

I have a washer dryer and its great

Washes and drys bed sheets completely dry and also in 45 mins can have a small wash completely washed and dried .

I could not be without it.

Hi please don't bother getting a combined. Washer/dryer they are rubbish,was the worst thing I ever got waste of money,I always had bother with mine

Never would buy one. It's not worth it. Just spend the extra plus use a little more space and get two machines. Recommend LG. Bit more pricey but worth it.

I don't have the space for two. Our's is ok but it takes ages almost 4 hours for a wash and dry. Would prefer two machines.

For a couple it's okay, but get a quality machine. I invested in a heated drying rail as well, which has been great. I couldn't imagine a family coping with one, and given the choice I would have separate machines. Mine has lasted 4 years so far...I probably shouldn't have said that..

Have one up the stables it’s 15 years old and has taken everything that’s been thrown at it.

It’s had a heavy workload and lives in an environment that is subject to temperature variations and the odd mouse nest.

It’s still thriving.

I have one that has worked perfectly for the 5 years I have had it.

Useful if you are one or two people but don’t think it would work for a family situation.
