We have noticed on here that if we don't message our so called friends on here then they hardly ever message us first. Would like to know other people's opinion.

Internet friends. I call them internet friends, but I get what the op is asking.

Keeping in touch is difficult for some. I got told (and I don’t think they would mind me putting this) they can keep up with ping pong, but I can. So I don’t mind that They don’t get in touch. We are all different.

How do you view FAB FRIENDS ?

As people you have put in a list because you have chatted and liked them and will maybe meet them in the future or would at least chat to them again ?

Or ... As someone that you haven't made a deal with about the number of messages they should send you and when but you will think it odd if they don't message you ? ( even tho they don't know you want them to )

For me they are not my 'friends'. I place no demands on them. If I accept their friend request it means I like talking to them.

No more.

I would suggest that unless these are actual friends, people you have met and got on with for example. Then you might be expecting too much from them.

We all have real lives, jobs, families etc. that might get in the way of communicating with relative strangers on the Internet.

Plus, without the chance of meeting anytime soon, the small talk might become exhausted.

I am very "patchy" in my communication with people. There's generally nothing to read into the quiet patches, apart from I'm busy with other things, not in the mood, or just not thought about it.

(I'm just as bad with real friends and family truth be told)

If you think that's bad, try having a single male profile:p you won't just struggle getting messages from your friends list, you'll struggle to get any messages/replies from anyone on fab. It's like drawing blood from a stone :p

We get a message from on our friends list from 5 months ago and can't remember who they are or why we added them etc. We have moved any friends we are interested in (for when we get meet again) to our hotlist. Very few get Rosie's kik and then we had to block a few. So much pushy impatience
