Annoying neighbor

Anyone have tales to tell about neighbors from hell , I’ve got a guy who spends all weekend out on his drive washing and waxing his car just because mine might be clean I’ve got a nice car and I know he’s jealous is pretty sad and tragic but watching him can be funny he’s now leaving the engine running while he washes it and starts it up at half five in the morning and leaves in running 20 minutes or so before he goes out to work ( any ideas why?? )

i had a neighbour move in at 11.45 pm last week

they bought the house so not a last minute panic flit because of bad circumstances somewhere else - couldn’t work out what all the banging was then realised it was beds and wardrobes bashing up stairs

hoping it wasnt a sign of things to come

Maybe so it’s warm inside when he sets off in it?

It’s bloody freezing at ten to six in the morning.

My last house I lived in I had an elderly man living next door and he was alright, a bit nosy and used to do wierd stuff but nothing too much, well one day he asked if I would trim down the hedging that run around my garden because it was bonfire night coming up and he wanted to watch the fireworks out his window and was worried they would block his line of sight... Slightly inconvenient (especially as they was only about 6.5ft anyway so not particularly high... Took them down to about 6ft to be nice and avoid problems but the guy went crazy on me... Comeround my house with his chain saw and chopped the lot down haha... Cost a fortune to have the stumps removed and get rid of the trees and gargen never looked the same again... Hated him after that

The law and local authorities always seem to side with the annoying antisocial neighbour.

Thankfully we don't have any neighbours. It's bliss.

We will take badly to if we ever move to somewhere with neighbours.

You're right he is a cunt.

An air-polluting motherfucker.

And I'd tell him so too if he lived next door to me.

Don't I know it. I've lived in the same house 46 years and a few years ago an Housing Association bought next door directly from a bank repossession.

A lady and 2 children moved in - she was a recovering alcoholic and only had shared access to kids (4 days 1 week, then 3 days the following week etc). Generally once she'd conquered her demons we never had any issues, she worked, was quiet and her boys grew up and caused no trouble.

She moved out in December 2019 and the new tenant moved in with her young son.

She is a Convicted baby killer rehoused next to us from another area of UK.

She is a nightmare. We constantly have to listen to her screaming "you fucking piss me off" and is always aggressive to her child.

We've told the housing association, used a noise app to record dozens and dozens of incidents. Police & Social services are constantly at her house yet nothing seems to be done about it. We have been told its just "normal living noise" Her garden (none of our business I know) is a dump. Car tyres, broken chairs, ripped leather sofa. The hedges and grass never cut, her child constantly kicks panels out of our adjoining fence yet we can never get any sort of success with any governing body.

Fortunately we own another rural property that we rented out and has became vacant in February, so as soon as our refurbishments have been carried out we are going to move out of that and probably rent this one.

It hurts as this was the house I grew up in as a child and 46 of my 49 years have been here.

Anyway a problem shared etc..rant over.

Oh my god that is shocking...convicted of killing a baby and yet has a baby living with her....Disgusting Your lucky you can move in to your other property...shocking social services don't seem to be doing much...'Baby P' springs to mind and all the other poor children not helped by social services then killed by parents. All you can do is just keep reporting her.

Tell him instead of getting upah half 5 to buy a new one.

Just found out I can have the heating on via Skoda app before I leave the house.

No more heating car up in winter.

I have a similar neighbour

My neighbours who live over the back from me spend the summer outdoors and because of this I now know all their business just because they like talking really loudly about themselves

Bet you ain't got neighbours like mine though. That's one's that are on this site, and got me blocked presumably hoping that I don't know who they are. I just love dropping the hint about the bdsm couple that I've heard about living round here somewhere, while they don't know that I know exactly who they are. I also know for a fact that the cuck and hot wife down the road are uncomfortable about me possibly knowing about them through my contacts. Too late, I'm already in the loop, but they don't know that. There's also a third couple that I'm starting to hear stories about, although as yet though it's only hearsay.
