Absolutely shocking they should be kicked out it's as bad as match fixing for financial gain in my eyes and the people who paid for the tickets must be fuming!!

Loving it too, I went to OT for the Uruguay v UAE and GB v Senegal mens footy last Thursday.

It's a bit surreal watching the Olympic Games and seeing the London skyline in the background, probably because I'm so used to major sporting events not being in this country.

The badmnton fix was adisgrace all 4 teams should be disqualified.

I have to admit my fav spoort has been the mens and womens beach volleyball and it's the event I wish I had tickets for. Before the games I was joking about it being a pervy sport, but a combination of te atmosphere of the crowd, the music including Benny Hill and skill of the players making many of the matches very competitive has been amazing. The Canada v Russia women last night plus the USA v Spain men games were simply astonsihing to watch and very entertaining.

Mind you can't wait to watch Usain Bolt.

Watching the Womens Cycling Road race on Sunday was a revelation! Not for what was being played out on the rain-soaked lanes of Surrey and the shopping streets of SW1, but for the noise Perky was making whist watching!!!!

For someone who has never been into sport, let alone the Olympics, she was like a Millwall fan after five Stellas!!!!

And, after pointing out the biological inaccuracy of shouting 'Gooooo on my Son!!!!!' as 'our girl' raced her heart out down The Mall in the dying seconds of the race, to be told to 'shut up you miserable old git' felt sooooo much better...... LMAO!

PS I do believe she is rivetted to the telly right now waiting to see Bradley Wiggins Lycra-clad thighs 'do it for us' from 12.30......

Fabio, that should encourage more to go to football that is on all around the country.

My latest Olympic addiction is waiting to see hair movement on the male gymnasts - all that spinning and being upside down and not a hair on their heads out of place!

The French gym kit also looks like they are wearing giant specs on their chests.

I'm working at the Hockey arena, and I'm in the stadium 95% of the time. The crowds are totally amazing. We have a 16,000 capacity and have been 80% full for nearly every game. The British supporters are fantastic and totally behind their team.

Another team who love their country is the Netherlands, they turn up in full orange colours, and you can spot them a mile off.

It's always the British or the Dutch that start the Mexican wave!!

Just gobsamcked at the way the venues have turned out now they are being used.

The _iew of the CrossCountry riders and horses going over jumps with London skyline in the backgrounds was just a big 'Wow' factor. Beach Volley ball in Horseguards - amazing. And cycling finishes on The Mall.

Been watching NBC website to see how the Yanks are seeing us and they are just SO impressed at how London has turned out and how it is all running. Nice to see that.

And now our team are starting to deliver medals I saw the BBC had a graph showing where we are now compared to Beijing and we are ahead. Go Team GB ..

My oldest nephew was just a little older than your daughter when we won the Games bid and it did inspire him. Even though he has not been enjoying his sports as much recently he sticks with it because he made a decision to do the best he could. His target is his black belt and then he feels he can give up. I hope by then he will be enjoying it all again but determination, even on the dark days, is what the 'Olympic spirit' is about.

All of the National Anthems had to be made the same length. They were all arranged by one composer and had to be approved by each nation. Ours has had a section altered that the Queen didn't like.

Changed? How d'ya mean?? It's certainly a new recording of it, and they may have done something with it as they have dropped the second verse as it's not 'p.c.' enough. Is it that it's a bit more of an orchestral arrangement??
