Dog, always. Love the way they show their love, and how nosey they are when they’re out.

Cats just look at you like you’re an unfortunate consequence of needing to be fed

I'm an animal lover in general and every bit of nature you intentionally bring into your home has it's virtues. If i had to choose one though it would have to be a dog. I don't have anything against cats but i find a dog's companionship much more rewarding.

I’ve had cats all my life until the last few years and then got my first dog 2.5 years ago. I would always have said cats, but my dog is my best bud and has kept me sane during covid. I love both, but dogs just edge it for me now.

I'm not into dog's, I woke up next to too many on a Sunday morning in my younger wilder days. Then I had to ask myself, what the hell was i drinking last night that I fancied this one.

I think the issue was definitively settled by Robert De Niro's character in Meet the Parents: dogs are emotionally shallow, you have to work to build a relationship with a cat.

a quandary, could you change my mind?

I'm more a Dog lover medium and large breads. Cats wise I will always say hello to, there is one that hears my voice and comes over for a fuss which is nice. Ill always pay attention to any animal if it seems they want it.

If I had to choose I'd choose cats. Mum & Dad had them when I was growing up so I've been bought up with them. Having said that we now have 2 dogs in the family (not actually owned by us) but we have to dogsit them occasionally & they're both lovely

Was never really fussed by either until we got our own puppy. She’s nearly 5 now & rules the roost. She’s definitely a daddy’s girl

Sad to hear that. I am a big dog lover and have 2. My friend is really arty and i sent her dog hair from both and she recycled it and made it into a lovely picture for me.
