Not a clue. I’ve searched the username from the porn site on here as have a few others and nothing.

I’m thinking police might be the next stage..

God knows. Maybe, not sure what the best thing to do is.

What a c**t though, whoever it is!

Have you spoken to the porn site and asked them to remove it? Unless you know who specifically put the video on there I'm not sure the police can do much tbh

I don’t think there is much that the police will be able to do.

Usually South, Currently North

Speak to the police.

They should at least be able to help get the video removed from the site (depending where it’s based).

Back of the bins.

Report the video on the porn site to start with. After that not much else you can do. Was the video public or friends video only?

You could file a DCMA request against the porn site

"You could file a DCMA request against the porn site"

in general if porn site knows the video is on there without your permission they will often remove it with no quibbles.

To be honest because you don't know who stole the video and you put it on a platform yourself im not sure other than advising how to contact the site that the police could help.

As others have said the best bet is to contact the porn site directly.

I'd contact the site admin where it was posted and tell them it's illegally posted there as you own the footage and didn't upload it. Maybe also ask them to provide the uploaders IP address so you can pass it on to police.

That may do 1 of two things, get them to remove it shariah or that and get you their IP so you can pass it on to police. They should then be able to trace the person who uploaded it and maybe prosecute them.

But prosecute them with what?

I genuinely don't know what law people think has been broken.

What has happened to the OP isn't nice and I hope the video is taken down. That said the video was put up by herself on an Internet site on public display, We all know the risks of posting videos and photos on here or any other sites and as far as I am aware absolutely no law has been broken.

The porn site will almost certainly take down the content because permission wasn't given but the police can't do anything.

As others mentioned, report it. If there's no face in the video mentioned I wouldn't even worry bout it. It'll be a fart in the wind, no comebacks

the very fact you've posted them to a free internet site i dont think theres alot you can do apart from complain to the site they are posted to.

now if they were private pics stolen and you knew who did it then you can report to the police.

i dont think people realise this risk of posting full face stuff/video/cam and how easy it is for others to copy ..

Oooof That’s unfortunate. What goes on the internet, stays on the internet.

But wow, their really is some aweful people around.

I've had this happen a few times. Report the video and contact the site they're posted to, and ask others to do the same.

That usually gets them taken down.

How did you find out? Have they put your name or fab username on the video?

There must be millions of vids on the site, so coming across it by accident (if you'll excuse the pun) seems unlikely.

Of they have ID'd you then I think that may be more serious

Sorry to hear that, I would contact the site and ask them to withdraw it.

Going forwards, as the world is full of cunts who will do things like this, my advice to anyone male or female who doesn’t want their naked content being shared around the internet, is not to post publically accessible pornography of themselves on fuck sites like this.

Good luck - I hope you can get it taken down soon and that you can find out who has done this.

How did you find out?

I am overly suspicious that some random guy would happen across your content on one of the many porn platforms and recognise it for what it is, unless they were intending to be seen as a hero, a shoulder to cry on etc.

But then again, it may just be me.

That's shit, sorry. I worry about this too if I'm honest, it's the reason that occasionally I'll hide all my videos. But ultimately it's a public site, I think people believe that disclaimer stuff on the bottom of a profile protects them, but it's not legally sound.

That said, the porn site should remove it for you if you ask them to! Hope it works out x

First things first send me the link...

You should hopefully be able to report the video and get it removed. Doesn't stop the weirdo from reposting it there or somewhere else.

That's the risks of putting it on the net.

If you post/upload them on here freely, i do not think there is much that can be done.

It does sound like someone has a gripe against you and is doing this as vindictive.

Posting material without consent for a start, they don't have the right to do so. It's like revenge porn and they can and do prosecute people for that.

Email the porn site give them the video number and tell them you are the original owner of the content and that it had been taken and posted without your consent

They will take it down

I would do as is said above, e mail the porn site owners and prove that they are your videos and that there is no permission given for them to be posted there.

Find out if the person was paid. That makes a difference to any claim you may make.

Lesson learned then I’d say ..

The young nowadays don’t truly understand the ramifications of social media ..

The stuff you post when you’re young and naive never disappears..

Large companies employ people to search everywhere about what people have done online through their lives ..

It's nothing like we venge porn and actually posting or sharing content online is not against the law.

You are allowed without consent, its a common Falsehood that people believe you have to explicity give permission to have your photo taken or stuff put on the Internet in fact that is not true.

I guess possibly you could get lawyers involved as no law other than possibly copyright (not a criminal matter but a civil one) but If you genuinely believe you can put stuff online and you have legal recourse if someone shares your content you are very sorely mistaken.

Also for revenge porn you have to be able to prove that it has caused significant distress to the persons whose images were shared and in this case bearing in mind the person has put them on line themselves that would be very difficult to prove.

Isn't there some law about once it's in the public domain people can do what they choose?

Posting something in public doesn't mean it's in the public domain. You still own the copyright of anything you create, including pictures. This is part of why the cross-rodent site removed the pictures so quickly - you're the copyright holder.

Putting something online for free can make it difficult to do much in terms of prosecution, etc. However, this is a site where you can only view photos if you're a member, so it's not entirely public either. It may well fall under revenge porn laws.

1) look for contact us links on the porn site. Email them links of the videos. State this is me I do not give permission for them to be shown and they should take them down.

2) Report this online to your local police service. They do have a protocol in place to contact the Web host and ascertain the ip of the machine that posted it. Not fool proof of course but still report it.

3) make your content private on here or for trusted friends only.

Good luck and it's a crappy thing to do.
