So who watched coming 2 America 2 today?

No where near as good as the first in my view.

The original rocks, I agree, however I found it to be amazing, the majority of the original cast making an appearance and the story wasn’t too shabby too haha

Yes the original is with out a doubt the better one. I was surprised by how many of the cast from 30 years were in this movie.

It was just how it should have been. Eddie Murphy is a lot older, all the actors are and it just was a nice nostalgic journey with all the old characters.

I believe they only finished it in lockdown so they did well considering everything going on.

Yeah, the story wasn't great but it did make me smile at King Jaffy Jafurs funeral

Was so looking forward to this. But oh my it was possibly one of the crappest movies I've watched. Lesley Jones as the prince's mum is the most annoying movie character ever! Wesley Snipes dance walking troop made me cringe with the overacting. They even say halfway through the movie that sequels shouldn't be made! Well this one deffo shouldn't have been! Hated 99 percent of this. O my good bit was the barber shop guy's.

It’s one of those films that should have been left alone as a one off.

I haven’t watched it yet but will be despite the comments. We all have our own preferences. You have to see for yourself.

Hannah loves the original. I (Luke) haven't seen it for 30 years but don't remember thinking it was great. We're planning on watching both of them but we suspect that they will be a bit cringey now what with the stereotyping of African royalty that will come quite differently nowadays.
