"Another thread got to me thinking about how some Men are kinda conditioned by society never to show weakness or vulnerability. It's not something covered too much but I just feel the need to say that it's ok to let it out , cry if you need to and confide in trusted people . Talk about your feelings and it is ok to shed a tear . I certainly have lately and not many people know that. It's ok to cry guys and my inbox is always open to anyone struggling in these shitty times " Thanks OP. I think it's brave of you to post this, especially as you say not many people know how you've been feeling lately. X

"I cry and proud, even cried meditating once. When my daughter does something I'm proud of or moves me, which is always. At a sad movie or when I need to unlease. It's a good way to unlease any bad energy or an excess of energy and emotion. Last time was about 2 weeks ago, my daughter sitting reading, and just felt a wave of emotion and happyness. " Aww that's awesome

"I've just read through a thread that made me feel very sad and tearful. The comments made towards the man who started the thread were awful and shameful at times. Men are fair targets on here for some people; especially from women who have been hurt by a man and take a lot of stick. Seems it's ok to attack men, but not women. Maybe because big boy don't cry. " I didnt see that thread tbh but you are correct

"Fucknugget, you're so right. Boys should never be told not to cry, and men should never feel they can't. I hope you get through this soon you gorgeous, lovely man. And to all our wonderful forum guys, and the lurkers, know that it's healthy to have and show your emotion, however that may happen." Awww thankyou sweetie

"Watched Children’s hospital programme on BBC a few weeks ago, in absolute floods of tears. I was on my own and felt a bit better afterwards. Could I do that in front of someone else, no chance. Maybe it’s because of my crossdressing and who I am as a person, two sides one that loves expressing a feminine persona and the other in male mode that has a need to be as masculine as possible. So crying just doesn’t sit easy with me whilst I’m a guy " It's ok, I get that

"Nothing wrong with crying at all guys I was considered a tough guy in my youth, rugby league pro, did a bit of boxing, not bragging about it just trying to get my point over that everyone cries I think crying is a sign of strength , shows your a caring person, don't be worried about it " Very true

"I couldn’t stop crying the other night. No real reason but just something tipped me over the edge. Although was exhausted after, it helped. Doesn’t always, but at that point it was what I needed to happen. I think it depends on the type of crying as well to how cathartic it can be. " Yep I get that. This was me yesterday

"I’m sure D will be happy for me to say he often has a few tears , usually over family or friends going through a bad time but also often watching anything on tv that’s sad , I went to work once and left him and my daughter watching Les Miserable when I came back I found him sobbing into a tea towel! " Awww it means hes a good man though and that's a wonderful thing xx
